FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What curriculum?

We use a wide variety of curriculum that is classically based, sound historically,

and curriculum that has a central focus on the accuracy of the Holy Bible, God's Word.

What is the tuition cost?

$5,500 for the first student; $2,750 for the second student;

$100 per month for each student thereafter, as long

as a full-paying and a half-paying tuition schedule is met with two other students.

Since the students make their own lunches daily and each Friday

each student cooks a meal for their family or to take to a needy family,

$50 per week per student is required.

Kitchen supplies and curriculum fees are $1,000 annually.

Field trips may occur, and costs will be made known to the parents as soon as possible.

Are the students sitting all day?

No, the students are not sitting all day.

They have some times of sitting and working on their school work,

some times of relaxing, times of going outside, and some times of lounging to read.

What about learning differences?

We serve students who have learning differences.

What we have found is that with expectations known and a routine set,

accountability maintained, a respect for others in place, and becoming aware

of social manners and self-management,

learning differences such as Asperger's, ADD and ADHD symptoms greatly lessen.

Performance

Students must maintain at least 80% annually to remain at Lake Country Christian Academy.

They achieve this because they discover they enjoy learning by using their brains

instead of computers and calculators. Since this is a private school we do not conduct

learning as a typical public school might. New students may have initial difficulty, but that

difficulty soon turns into enjoyment.

Christmas break begins mid-December.

New year begins after New Year's Day holiday.
